Growing Exports

IT export services are projected to grow 7 times faster than the previous decade and represent 20% of the sector. More than half of the small and medium companies are regular exporters.

The main exporting markets are: Mercosur, United States, Canada and Spain. Employment in the IT sector grew 30% in the last 3 years and currently, with 32.000 professionals it has become the fastest growing job creator in the country.

It is projected that Argentina will double its IT exports by 2011 and that job creation in the sector will grow by 50%. Moreover, Argentina is positioned to capture 1.5% of the worldwide offshore market, which reprsents an opportunity of US$ 3.000 billion and employment for 100.000 professionals.
