In 1977 the Asociación Civil de Estudios Superiores –ACES– was founded as a non- profit entity dedicated to promoting higher education. Since its inception, the sustained growth of its academic departments dedicated to teaching, research and serving the community have been the driving forces that led to the founding of the Universidad Austral. The IAE Business School, ranked amongst the top 30 business schools in the world by the Financial Times, the departments of Business Administration, Communication, Engineering, Law, Biosciences, the School of Education, the Science Institute of the Family and the University Hospital are part of a strong track record established over three decades.
